“At first I had reservations about exercising in a park in front of people (which is the reason I don’t like gyms or going to classes). I also expected that I would get bored quite easily and not stick with it for any length of time.
I wanted to have more energy and feel healthier. Losing weight was also a goal but not the main one. I just wanted to feel better about myself.
Now I actually enjoy getting out into the fresh air and exercising in the park. The kids can come with me and run around while I have my session. Cecilia is very easy going but also keeps me focused and encourages me to keep pushing. I’ve now been training with Cecilia for almost one year which is the longest I have ever stuck with any form of exercise and I’m still really enjoying it.
I enjoy the variety of our sessions. Mixing it up with different circuits and boxing keeps it interesting.“

“Before started my sessions in Your Place my Gym I hadn’t done any exercise (other than walking) for a very long time and I felt very self-conscious. I was also not sure if this was something that I would enjoy and commit to.
My main goal was to do something for myself (I always put my family first but I just wanted to do something for me). I wanted to feel good about myself and get healthy.
Cecilia is fantastic!! She made me feel at ease when we first met and talked about what I wanted to get out of training. She is encouraging and supportive and never lets me give up. While we have a job to do at training – we also have a lot of fun and laughs.

“Before I started training with Cecilia I had my reservations about knee injury would cause more problems and feel silly for not being competent at a stretch or weight station. Cecilia made me feel comfortable from the very start by listening to my concerns about my knee problems and designing a program around my needs and ability. She educated me on what things to do to build up muscles in my legs and back to better support my knees to minimize any impact on them. When it came to using machine’s I’d never seen before Cecilia demonstrated how they worked and as I used it she would position my arms/legs or back in the safest and best position for that machine. As far as cost Cecilia tailored a program that I could follow at the gym when I wasn’t working 1:1 with her that was easy to follow and build on so the training I did with her was worth it.
I increased endurance and speeds on Cardio machines, increase in weights used on all weight machines and I lose body fat and inches from waistline.
6 months into my training with Cecilia I discovered I was pregnant. At the time Cecilia was also in the early months of her pregnancy. As I carried a high risk for the term of my pregnancy she altered my program immediately to accommodate my changing needs. She was full of positive reassurance that what we were doing was safe for my body. She also pushed and encouraged me to work that little bit harder to get my body ready for pregnancy and birth. Cecilia was so kind and supportive I consider her a friend for the way she respected my needs and helped me achieve my goals.”

I've tried different ways of keeping myself active, and always got bored or disappointed after a couple of months. I thought to give it a try with Cecilia’s classes, but I didn't have many expectations.
My initial goal was lose weight with the training and diet, get a better body shape and lose some fat.
After 2 years I can confirm that I never got bored and I always look forward to the next session, I also achieved my goals, and now the challenge is to maintain it. Besides, I have increased my muscles strength, and my resistance.
I love that Cecilia makes the program for my own pace, but pushing me as much as possible according to my abilities and my goals
